Research Interests
I study narrative and how it relates to culture, emotion, and human intelligence from a computational perspective.

Biography
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from FIU in 2022 under the direction of Professor Mark A. Finlayson on the topic of analyzing and detecting how humans detect narrative elements. I received my M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2014 under the direction of Professor Patrick H. Winston working on folklore from the Crow tribe. I also received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2014 with a minor in writing. Outside of academics, I am passionate about reading, writing, video games, music, and photography.
